South Downs Photographic are taking part in the 2022 Print Championships held in the Alton Assembly Rooms, Hampshire. Do come and join us on Sunday 20th March!
On the day…
This year’s Judges were Peter McCloskey FRPS APAGB, Leigh Preston FRPS EFIAP MPAGB and Martin Patten DPAGB, LRPS BPE5* EFIAP. The Judges used a rapid-response electronic marking system compiling all three sets of marks for a combined overall score. Thus, images were scored out of 15. Any image scoring a top mark of 5 from any of the Judges received a *.
Congratulations to Guy Turner who scored the highest of all our entries with a well-deserved 11/15 for the delightful Bokhara Madrassa – our headline image. Also to Heather Chuter for Mara’s Love scoring a very respectable 10/15. The rest of us scored a very reasonable 9/10 in most cases. Roll on next year as we learn from our 2022 experiences and aim for even better results in 2023.
